A BRIEF HISTORY OF FOUR: QUARTET CAMERATA TO PLAY US INTO SUNDAY MORNING

A BRIEF HISTORY OF FOUR
The history of the string quartet in 70 minutes

Quartet Camerata is Peter Bussereau (violin), Anna Dryer-Beers (violin), Paul Bennett (viola) and Peter Randall (‘cello). Established over 25 years ago, Quartet Camerata have performed throughout the UK to critical acclaim at venues including St John’s Smith Square and the Victoria & Albert Museum. The quartet has performed for the Queen and featured on BBC Radio. Quartet Camerata perform regularly at festivals and music clubs, they played at the Good Life Experience in 2016. They have successfully combined elements of their extensive and eclectic repertoire with prose, poetry and dance. Over the years, they have found that sharing the stories behind the pieces they perform helps audiences connect with them – particularly with lesser-known works. These short, entertaining explanations are now an integral part of every Quartet Camerata concert. This is a very good reason to get up out of your tent on the Sunday morning.
